Civitanova and surroundings

In summer, Civitanova Marche is the best place to spend relaxing holidays on the beach and, at the same time, to play all summer sports.
Civitanova Marche has 2 beaches (southern pebbly beach, northern sandy beach) and a touristic port.
You are able to go fishing, sailing vela (in Civitanova’s Club vela), and kite surfing in the equipped area based on the southern beach.

There are also 2 cycle tracks: one that connects Civitanova Marche to Civitanova Alta (the picturesque Medieval town) in the midst of peaceful country side of circa 3km, 1on the south promenade that leads you to the river Chienti (ca 3km). The town also offers you the possibility to rent bicycles for free, and internet connection free in various places in the town centre.

Civitanova is based in the middle of the Marche Region and for this reason is the best base to discover this area, full of history, art, culture and wonderful nature.

Within an hour you can reach the town of Sarnano, Amandola and Caldarola and the Sibillini Mountains with great trekking foot paths. As for night time entertainments, you are spoilt for choice. Apart from the many beach huts which offer live music and parties, there are many discos such as the spectacular Babaloo, at 10 km, where you can dance until the early hours on the unique dance built in the middle of a fairylike lake. There are many Restaurants where you can taste regional specialties such as Vincisgrassi (lasagna) and fresh local fish.
